Hello Prague Blague followers! Today was supposed to be the last day of our adventures...but Dublin had other plans for these world travelers ◡̈
We had an early morning start to the day filled with last visits to our favorite bakeries, sad goodbyes to our apartments, and lugging our suitcases through the streets of Prague again. It felt like we had blinked our eyes, turned around twice, and the month had flown by faster than we could have imagined. We carried the same luggage back to the bus that we had come with, but we had all changed in some way over the course of this past month!

We had a quick ride to the airport and a smooth process through ticketing, security, and boarding. We were officially off on our first leg of our journey back to the United States. Our exit off the plane was surely in style as we walked down a set of stairs straight onto the tarmac to board a shuttle to the terminal. All of us were relived to be in another familiar space to relax and grab a bite to eat before our taxing seven hours flight back to the USA.

Well...here's were the afternoon gets crazy. Our boarding time was around 4pm, and at about 3:15pm those plans drastically changed. We got the news that our flight had been cancelled and we would be staying the night in Dublin, Ireland! Our fearless leaders/professors guided us to baggage claim and to the long line to get our accommodations for the night.

After a couple of long lines and lots of calls, we were scheduled for the 11am flight to JFK tomorrow and ready to stay at the Clayton Hotel for the evening! We spent the evening eating good food, watching soccer, and seeing the landscape of Ireland.

Though it wasn't the journey we had planned, we all walked away with a new passport stamp and a new story to tell ◡̈
