Sunday, May 19th

We started off our Sunday at the early hour of 4am disembarking our flight from New York to Dublin. We were too early to enter the gate of our connecting flight which as far travel hiccups go, is definitely one of the best. This gave us the chance to explore the Dublin airport for several hours, getting lost and found again in a space that was new to almost all of us.
We reconvened in time to head to our gate together and caught our connecting flight to Prague. Once arriving in Prague, heading through customs, and collecting our bags we met our wonderful CET hosts who had a bus waiting to take us on the 45 minute ride to our apartment building. On our bus ride we had the chance to sit back and take in the beauty of Prague.

Once we arrived at our apartment building we parted ways with our professors and CET hosts and took the chance to settle in, explore our neighborhood, and check out the local Tesco(a grocery store that came highly recommended to us by last year’s Prague explorers). After a restful afternoon we reconvened with our CET hosts and professors to walk to a local restaurant for a delicious buffet style dinner. Here we had a chance to talk more about our initial impressions, useful tips, and what we’re looking forward to.
After dinner we split up, with some students exploring the neighborhood further and others catching up on some much needed sleep. However, we all ended the evening in agreement about our excitement for tomorrow, when we will get to adventure further into the city of Prague.
