Blague #05: Getting Lost in Prague

Tuesday, May 21st

Today was our first official class day in Prague.

In the morning, we started off by buying a cup of coffee at a local cafe before hopping on the tram to get to the classroom. For the space and place class, we talked about how Prague was becoming more familiar to us and how we are in a transitional time period while being here. We visited a garden area and drew half of something that we saw interesting and will draw the rest the next day.

After breaking for lunch, we all gathered for a survival Czech class where we learned how to say and pronounce different Czech words and phrases that will help us during our 5-week stay.  Some of us got lost on the tram system while heading back to the apartment building, but we eventually found each other and made it back safely and together.
