After a quick ride on the tram, we began our second day of classes. For the Space and Place Class, we discussed our drawings and completed a fun group activity. The class went shopping at a few art stores to pick out new supplies. With our art supplies, we revisited the garden area from yesterday and finished our drawings from the previous day.

After a break for lunch, the Art of Estrangement class visited the Old Town and Jewish Quarter of Prague. On a tour, the group learned about the history of Prague, the Jewish Quarter, and Franz Kafka. The Old Town Square included many monuments that tied back to the history of Prague. At 2:00, the class watched the Prague astronomical clock’s hourly chime. Within the Jewish Quarter, the class finished the tour in the Franz Kafka Museum.

Later in the afternoon, a group of us went on a walk to a nearby park. The park included a hill that overlooked part of Prague. We explored an artificial cavelike structure and climbed to the top to view the rest of the park.

Today was another incredible day for exploring Prague. We can’t wait to see what else the city has to offer!
