This morning, I put on my matching “I ♥️ Prague” tee & got an early start with my day! I met my friend Samantha and together we took the tram over to the area of Prague where our class takes place and grabbed breakfast.

We enjoyed the view from the second level of KRUSTA Cafe as well as a delicious Cappuccino. ☕️ These are my biggest obsession/the thing I purchase most often here in Prague, along with McDonald’s (🙈), which I also grabbed a couple breakfast items from before meeting for class at 10am.

Usually, class begins earlier but our section (The Art of Estrangement) had a later start because of an excursion today! We traveled by metro to the Kunsthalle Art Gallery where we visited a photography exhibition. This exhibition had a focus on Lucia Moholy who was born in Prague and is widely known for her documentation through photography of the Bauhaus movement.

Following the exhibition, a group of us grabbed a quick lunch at a bagel shop near the gallery. We took the tram back to CET and got back in time to meet for Salon. In Salon #3, the Estrangement section discussed rough drafts of our project of the week that focuses on narrative storytelling and photography. It was nice to be able to talk out and receive feedback on our character sketches for the narratives that we have been creating in class! Both Space and Place sections crafted ~20 minute long videos of a “tour” of Prague. The two videos were unique and special because they included different parts of Prague that were of importance to the “tour guides” showing them. They were super sweet and also absolutely hilarious and had the entire class laughing!

Once Salon was over, we had a neat activity to head over to which was time at the Petrin Tower. (Also known as the Petite Eiffel Tower!)

At Petřínská rozhledna we rode up the cable cars, went through the mirror maze, and climbed up the Petrin Lookout Tower for a breathtaking view of Prague! It seriously never gets old!

After coming back down from the top of the tower, Francela, Campbell, Lizzie, Madison, and I took pictures in the rose garden in our matching tee shirts. ♥️ Today felt like the perfect day to wear them since we had so many fun things to do together as a whole group!

We headed back down the cable car and group of us took a tram to Prague 10! Here- along with my sweet roomies, Sydney & Claire, plus David and Tim- we ate at the yummiest Italian restaurant called Pizzerie Veranda and truly just enjoyed our time together.

And… of course we had to finish the night at Crème de la Crème!!!

I didn’t think it was possible but I am growing more thankful every single day here! I genuinely am loving each moment so much!!!

I ♥️ Prague!
