Today was a long and amazing day! We started the day coming back to Prague from Vienna, we got back to the apartments at 2:00 AM and headed right back out the door at 3:00 AM for our bus to Berlin. At this time, the adrenaline was pumping and I was so excited to be in a new city!
One of the many things I love about this trip is that you have some free weekends, so if you are interested in going on this trip, I urge you to go explore other nearby European countries! Plus, the sunrise is around 4 AM here so you get to see some super pretty views:)

After the 4.5 hour bus ride, we arrived in Berlin! We were all super hungry so our first stop was finding a breakfast place to eat, and more importantly, grab a coffee! We stopped at this super cute place and breakfast was amazing.

After breakfast, we explored the city! We went to the Berlin Jewish Museum and then saw the Checkpoint Charlie site-it was a symbol of the Cold War, separating East and West Berlin. Berlin has a ton of important history in it, so it was really interesting reading all about it, I recommend it if you are a history lover like myself.

After exploring that part of the city, we headed towards the main part and went to the TV tower where we got to see some great views of the city! This tower soars 368 m into the sky, we were up at the observation deck and the views were spectacular.

After that, we met up with our friends Mina and Cate so we could spend the rest of the day together!! We explored more of the city and saw the famous sites such as the Berlin Cathedral and the Brandenburg Gate, and we saw a really pretty view near the cathedral!

We then went to go see the Berlin Wall memorial, it was probably my favorite spot to see during this trip just because I learned so much of the history behind it in classes in high school. It represents the ideological divisions of the Cold War.
After a long day with lots of sightseeing and souvenir shopping, we hopped on the bus back to Prague and got some much needed rest. Overall, I loved this city, there is a lot to do here so you can never be bored! This concludes my blague and another perfect day studying abroad with the honors program:)
Auf Wiedersehen!!
