Blague #20: Towers, Tours, and Tricks!

Hello Prague Blague followers! Welcome to the day 19 recap of our adventures in Prague ◡̈

Today started out by taking Tram 11, my personal favorite, from Pod Jezerkou to the Muzeum stop. We had a quick 10 minute walk through the plaza to CET for class. That’s one of my favorite parts of the day because you can see the city waking up with people going to work, kids going to school, and people grabbing their morning cup of coffee everywhere!

In class this morning we continued to chat about being tour guides in Prague this week for our Thursday salon performance. We reviewed our location sketches from last night and began to piece together the route that our tour will be for filming TOMORROW! We got some expertise advice from none other than the Prague tour guide expert herself, Simona! She gave us lots of tips and tricks so our filming tomorrow will go smooth ◡̈

After our lunch break, we had an amazing tour of the Municipal House in Prague 1. We got to hear all about the rich history of the halls and parlors that house many important Prague events and “celebrities”. We took another afternoon adventure to the Eiffel Tower replica in Prague and hiked up 299 steps to BEAUTIFUL view of the city. And of course treated ourselves to gelato afterwards ◡̈

This evening we had a Space and Place class field trip to the Jatka78 circus! We got to see lots of cool tricks, acrobats, and talents in a cool story line. It was not like a traditional American circus, so definitely a new and fun experience for all of us to share. After the circus, a group of us thought a late night McDonald’s run would put the cherry on top of another amazing day in Prague!
